Camp Oochigeas (Ooch) is a privately funded, volunteer-based organization that provides kids with and affected by childhood cancer with unique opportunities for growth through challenging, fun, enriching and magical experiences. Ooch is much more than a summer camp. Ooch is the only overnight camp in Ontario to offer onsite IV chemotherapy treatment and blood transfusions. ODBF funding will support the consistent year-round in-hospital programming at CHEO 4 days a week, supported by their first full-time program specialist. ODBF’s donation provides critical funding to expand Camp Oochigeas in-hospital program in Ottawa which will ensure no child is ever turned away, today or tomorrow.
