The 2024 Ottawa Fire Truck Pull was a tremendous success, raising over $45,245 in support of Epilepsy Ottawa! A total of 88 fundraisers and 499 donations made this incredible achievement possible. The event was able to expand and grow under the guidance of the Ottawa Dragon Boat Foundation’s (ODBF) events team. This support will enable Epilepsy Ottawa to continue empowering individuals, families, and caregivers with epilepsy resources and mental health support, staying true to its core mission.

Peter Andrews, the volunteer President and Chair of Epilepsy Ottawa, expressed gratitude to ODBF for making this year’s pull the best ever. ODBF CEO John Brooman, shared his enthusiasm for supporting Epilepsy Ottawa through the annual Ottawa Fire Truck Pull, highlighting the community’s collective efforts and commitment to raising funds through October 31 to support this incredible cause.
