The Ottawa Dragon Boat Foundation (ODBF) is pleased to announce its donation of $5,000 to the Children’s Aid Foundation of Ottawa. Walter Noble, Executive Director of the Children’s Aid Foundation of Ottawa says “With your support and charitable donations, more children can enjoy the best parts of growing up.”

The Ottawa Dragon Boat Foundation’s donation will support the CAFO Camp for Kids Program which provides children and youth with a week-long summer camp experience. These camp experiences help children and youth develop leadership and social skills, build self-confidence and life skills.

The Foundation raises funds throughout the year in support of the ODBF’s mission to support local charities. This donation is made through the ODBF’s new Community Fund. The Foundation’s Community Fund allows charities to apply for funding under the categories of community health, community development and community services. Selected charities can receive funding up to $10,000 for new and existing programs or projects.
