ODBF is pleased to announce its donation of $10,000 in support of Camp Oochigeas! Camp Oochigeas provides children affected by cancer the opportunity of unique, fun and enriching experiences.
So much more than just a summer camp, Ooch is the only overnight camp in Ontario to offer onsite chemotherapy treatment and blood transfusions. Focusing on new activities, laughter, & friendship, children connect with their peers and focus on what they need most– the chance to have fun being kids!
ODBF funding will support the consistent year-round in-hospital programming at CHEO 4 days a week, supported by our first full-time program specialist. ODBF’s donation provides critical funding to expand Camp Oochigeas in-hospital program in Ottawa which will ensure no child is ever turned away, today or tomorrow.
